National Intersectionality Framework for Sport: ASC

Partner: Australian Sports Commission (in collaboration with Myriad Global)

Sector: Federal Government · Sport


Challenge

Develop Australia’s first intersectionality-informed governance and leadership framework for sport—at scale, across all codes and contexts.


Solution

Using the Ethos Method and Praxis Framework, we facilitated extensive co-design with over 200 lived experience stakeholders. We produced the national framework, sector messaging, executive narrative, and roll-out assets to embed structural equity in national sport.

  • First national policy of its kind globally
  • Endorsed by major sporting bodies and codes
  • Informed strategic leadership across sport and recreation
  • Framework now used in gender, disability, and race equity training

eLearning: Spark North East Link

Challenge
Induct hundreds of workers safely and consistently on Victoria’s largest infrastructure project—while meeting compliance, accessibility, and engagement standards.


Solution
We produced a SCORM-compliant eLearning program combining live-action filming, motion graphics, and instructional design. Content was accessible, multilingual, and platform-compatible across devices.

  • Reduced manual onboarding time by over 50%

Translate complex policy into a clear, accessible, and sector-trusted communications suite to support the launch of Victoria’s updated strategy.


Solution
We developed the visual identity, launch assets, and content suite—including executive summaries, case studies, and social copy. All assets aligned with Brand Victoria while remaining authentic to the sector’s language, tone, and values.

Help VSA understand how digital-first education providers are evolving and how public platforms can compete.

We conducted a market analysis of 40+ platforms across public and private education sectors. This included UX benchmarking, content strategy, and accessibility audits.

Facilitate a trauma-informed, community-led process to explore future relationships between LGBTQIA+ communities and policing.

Using the Praxis Framework, we delivered safe-space engagement, narrative research, and co-created recommendations for a new Accord.

Challenge
Showcase the stories and impact of social enterprises across Australia through a hybrid digital awards campaign—during peak COVID disruptions.


Solution
We delivered the full content campaign for the Social Traders Awards: filming across three states, producing social media and livestream-ready edits, and creating content that amplified social enterprise leadership nationally.

  • Featured over 30 social enterprises across video and digital channels
  • Campaign reached over 60,000 viewers
  • Strengthened sector cohesion and visibility during lockdown periods

Design a public-facing platform that supports young people, communities, and thought leaders to co-create solutions to systemic issues.


Solution
We built the Think Platform with The Aurum Foundation to deliver national-level events, campaigns, and toolkits. Recent activations include Think 3000 (co-produced with RMIT), Think Autism, and Think Voice, Think Sport, Think Pride, Think Women and Think Greek—combining thought leadership with policy influence.

  • Platform accessed by 5,000+ participants to date
  • Featured in university, government, and industry forums
  • Created pathways for youth-led advocacy and inclusion

Challenge

Create a national civic initiative that elevates Autistic leadership, visibility, and rights—without falling into tokenism or top-down advocacy.


Solution

We designed and delivered Autistic Pride Day using the Praxis Framework—a trauma-informed, neuroaffirming, and community-led methodology. Our team co-produced digital toolkits, event branding, stakeholder engagement, and symposium delivery with and for Autistic communities.


Impact

  • 100,000+ reached globally across 10 countries
  • Featured in government, academic, and sector forums
  • Model adopted by multiple councils and social enterprises
